The Citadel Medical Camp~ Kenya Study Abroad

Hi!!! My name is Ellie, and I am a Master’s student at the Citadel. Since beginning the Health and Human Performance program, this school has supported and encouraged my desire to attend Physical Therapy school in in 2025. In doing so, I am so excited to be serving as part of the Kenya Medical Camp Study Abroad trip, taking place next month in Nairobi, Kenya.

This camp offers vital healthcare services to individuals who may not otherwise have access medical care. Along with 23 other Citadel students, we will be volunteering assistance to doctors and personnel of the Medical Camp, improving the health and wellbeing of those in need in Niarobi.

In doing so, we will gain invaluable shadowing experience that simply could not be replicated in the United states.

I first ask for support in prayer. I am so thankful for all of the tremendous ways the Lord has worked in my life, especially in joining this incredible community at The Citadel. I have witnessed his love in ways I could not have imagined, and this trip is an answered prayer to be able to serve to the Lord through serving others, with love.

Your contribution will directly support me in covering the expenses of travel, supplies, and living costs for the duration of this study abroad experience.
