The City Eats and Project P.E.A.R.L.S. Fundraiser

The world around us is at a stand still and the pandemic affects everyone world wide!   And the people and children of the Philippines need our help!
We've worked and supported Project Pearls in the Philippines a few times now...We know that there are many worthy causes, but there is something about loosing your living arrangement to typhoons where poverity is already at it's HIGH or even not celebrating the holidays because there is lack of resources - food or gifts for the children!

The world around us is at a stand still and the pandemic affects everyone! And the people and children of the Philippines need our help!
Project Pearls is a trusted organization helping families in the Philippines that face poverty and lack of resources. We have worked with this organization for a few years now. Our very own Cat Montes participated in their 2019 Holiday Event!

We are reaching out to all our supporters to help us:

1) Raise emergency funds to give immediate aide to communities around Luzon that are in state of calamity.
Philippines was recently hit by two powerful cyclones in just four weeks – Vamco and Goni. These two devastating typhoons left may areas in Luzon submerged in water for days; dozens dead; millions without power and running water; and hundreds of thousands are homeless, hungry and staying in different evacuation centers without any preventable measures from getting COVID-19.

2) Adopt-a-PEARLS Family this Christmas!
Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, they cannot have holiday parties. But Project Pearls will not let any pandemic cancel Christmas for the thousands of children and families in our communities.
Project PEARLS still aims to distribute holiday food packs to hundreds of families; and gifts to thousands of children.
Although Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but for families living in poverty, it can also be the most challenging (and sad) time. But we believe in angels and heroes like you who can make their holidays merry and meaningful.

As little as $20 USD or PHP 1000, PEARLS family will receive:
1. Grocery Pack for their meals good for a family of 6-8.
2. Snack Packs
3. Gifts for all the children

Help us reach our goal of $3,000 to provide aid to those affected by the typhoon and to adopt a PEARLS family for the holidays!
To start, we are donating $1,500.00, lets get to $3K by Dec 22, thats the goal.
