The City that Builds Itself: A Dialogue

Hey!
My name is Jacob McGowan and I'm in my final year at the University of Cincinnati for my architecture master's degree.
We're hard at work on our thesis writing, and I have been propositioned by my faculty to write a graphic novel. Any master's program is pretty intense, but this added task on top of writing a formal thesis makes getting a part-time job unrealistic.
I am passionate about creating a tangible work of art that tells a cohesive and important story and would humbly ask for your help in making this dream a reality. Therefore let us cut to the chase and talk about what the book is actually about.
Artificial intelligence and computation is a hot topic that poses a hard question to almost every profession. In my particular case, (that of architecture and city planning), the question is as follows:
If AI is posed to supersede mankind in design, can we prove it's not in our best interest, and even more importantly, what ought we do instead?
This book will be a graphic novel following my notional conversations with famous architects throughout time, discovering their takes in conjunction with the science of the subject, in hopes of coming to some solution for our future generations.
The style of the book will be dark, gritty, and surrealist, with most pages being hand drawn.
The funding for this project will be used to pay for an 'hourly wage', as well as printing copies of the book in our printing studio. If there is particular interest in the book, I would like to supply every funder with a copy, I can keep the costs to produce books relatively low seeing as it is an in-house production (the estimated cost to produce each book is about $30(paperback)), But the first 15 funders will get it for free!
Tangible deadlines / Updates:
-December 5th- Final submission for the written portion of the book
-January 15th- Initial storyboard for the panels due, along with any already completed drawings
-March 3rd- The first final draft of the book is due, editing and reworks ensue
-April 1st- Final version is due, production of copies will begin
-May 1st- Shipping out copies to donors.
Anyway thank you for taking the time to read my pitch, and I hope you decide to be a part of this production! Below I will link my email, So I can keep track of donors and keep everyone updated with teasers and progress.
All the best and thank you!
