The Collazo Family Lost Their Dad
Donation protected
On Novemeber 13, 2016, Ian Collazo was tragically killed when the bike he was riding was struck by a car. Ian, 48 years old, was a loving father to three children, ages 7, 17, and 19. He was also a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Marlena.
Marlena has been my nanny for over two years. She has been caring for my twin girls since they were three weeks old, in addition to my older daughter. Her official title is "Nanny" but she is more like a second mother to my children and has always treated them like her own. She provides exceptional care to my girls and I always feel safe when they are with her.
Marlena is an incredible mother who exudes love when it comes to her family. Her husband, Ian, was the love of her life. I have only had the pleasure of meeting him a few brief times, but Marlena has spoke of him often. He was a successful travel agent, a great baseball coach, and, most of all, an incredible father and husband. The sudden and tragic loss of this man is heartbreaking.
Please help me to support this amazing family in their time of need. I can only hope to alleviate a little bit of the financial stress associated with this terribly difficult time.
