The continued refurbishment of Brentwood rfc

After nearly 60 years at King Georges Playing Fields, Brentwood Rugby Club Committee have approved the process of undertaking a major refurbishment of the clubhouse with the intention to bring the facilities to a standard that matches our current playing capabilities and make the whole rugby experience a pleasure for both players and supporters alike!

We have worked with local businesses and private individuals to raise all the funding ourselves with the aim to cover the expected cost of approximately £90-100K, and if possible undertake extra works by volunteers that will allow us to complete the space fully with services that we had originally planned for a phase 2 process.

It’s become apparent that with the radical works we’ve started, we need to add these elements NOW with fire systems, security, heating, flooring etc to meet our expectations, and we are looking to raise an additional £20K, a figure that we believe will futureproof the plans we have and make all the difference to our club and deliver a fantastic environment that we can all be proud of for many years to come.

As a playing member, family member, social member or just a supporter who wants to put something back into the local community and who likes to watch a game of rugby, your support is crucial to helping us achieve this, we hope that you can help us in our endeavours, your money will be going to a space that helps support the local community youth and their families and can be used by yourselves to create this environment.
