The Coventry Cobras Ice Hockey club

Hi, My name Is Adam. I am the general manager and head coach of the Coventry Cobras. We are a recreational ice hockey team based at the Skydome Arena in Coventry. We were founded in May 2011 and are the longest-serving recreational team. There has been a year-by-year increase in our ice rental costs, and it has now reached the point where we can no longer keep up with the demands of the ice rink. There has been a 5% increase every year for ten years, and now, they are increasing it another 10% this year. Every year we have tried sponsors and funding, but as it's a pretty small-scale sport in this country, it is 90% funded by our players and their love to play.

Recreational hockey teams allow opportunities for kids who are now too old to play for the junior hockey systems and adults that want to try new sports, keep fit and socialise, something we all need more of.

Please help us continue. Any money raised will be 100% used for ice time alone. It will go towards training and game time only. It has finally become too expensive for my players to enjoy what some have been doing for years and years. Please look at our Instagram and Facebook pages and show us some love.
