The Cowboy's Heart

On January 15, our beloved Bernardo Lopez, known fondly as Cowboy, suffered a severe cardiac event during his morning workout routine. We have started this fundraising campaign to help offset the medical bills.

 

While you may not know Cowboy personally, if you have dined in any of Saint Louis' finest restaurants over the past 20 years, you have most likely enjoyed a meal prepared by his hands. His precision, consistency and pride in his work (often the fodder for his playful ribbing of coworkers), coupled with his good-hearted spirit, elevated every dish and every kitchen.

 

Cowboy and his tight-knit family are fixtures in the Saint Louis restaurant world. Unfortunately, the future hardships this event will have on his livelihood will likely be far more significant than this campaign might fix. Please consider giving to this fund to help our dear friend and to help relieve at least one stress for Cowboy and his family in this challenging time.
