The Crossley Family's lung transplant journey.

Chris and Trish Crossley are preparing for his double lung transplant surgery at UAB. Chris was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and after many weeks of testing, has been approved for a double lung transplant. While this is exciting news, there are still many obstacles to overcome. Surgery will require Trish to be out of work to support and care for Chris as he recovers. Her current disability policy does not provide any benefits for the care of a family member. We hope to raise enough money to cover living and travel expenses for several months for the Crossley family to focus on Chris' recovery. The Crossleys have two children, one in high school and another in college. Please consider joining her work family from RMC-Anniston to alleviate one of the many stressors they will endure.
