Help Fletch and Levi Crowley

Donation protected
When people tell you that life can change in a split second, you think you know what that means. Then something happens to your family and you understand exactly.

On Sunday, September 10th, Fletcher Crowley, our nephew - and a fantastic 17-year-old kid, had a life-altering accident that left him with a severe spinal cord injury. Fletcher, an avid mountain biker, skier, and skater, found his greatest joy on two wheels.

Fletcher's parents, Pat and Nicky, are also parents to Levi, who is Fletcher's eldest brother. Levi was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) that requires regular medical intervention and treatment. To have two kids facing such immense challenges requires a special kind of fortitude. The words ‘shit-show’ have been mentioned a few times by the Crowley’s and you can’t help but think that’s exactly how it must feel for this beautiful family.

Yet, this family's strength and resilience are nothing short of inspiring. Fletcher's accident has added a new layer of complexity, with the need for significant home modifications, along with ongoing medical support.

Many people have asked how they can help.

We are launching a GoFundMe campaign to provide some vital support to Pat, Nicky, Fletcher, and Levi. Your contributions will go toward the home modifications needed for Fletcher's independence, a modified vehicle to help Fletcher with independence, and to help cover the mounting medical bills and ongoing treatments for both boys. The money will also go towards advancing medical research and clinical trials that could potentially change the course of their lives.

Fletcher and Levi are fighters. They have both shown such incredible grace for people so young. Right now, what they need, is real support from all of us.

Humour has always been a Crowley family tradition. And in true Crowley style, they are leaning on humour to get through the darkest moments. In classic Fletch style, yesterday when doctors explained Fletcher’s strict rehab regime for the next five months and to always remember his patient number, he responded with “Bloody hell. I feel like I’m going to juvie”.

The best and most tangible way is to help cover the mountain of costs this family now faces. Please donate today and share this campaign with your friends and networks. Together, we can help this family in the most practical of ways.

Thank you for your compassion and support.

With heartfelt gratitude.
