The Cruisin Cafe Transmission Repair Fund

As many of you know, I have been running a food truck (The Cruisin’ Cafe) for about 6 months. The truck has had many ups and downs working out all the kinks that are associated with a new business and more especially a mobile Restaraunt. This summer had taken its tole on the business but we managed to endure and make it through. The fall is normally the busiest time for food trucks and has so far had great potential.
Unfortunately Friday the 18th the transmission burned out in us and as many of you know is not a cheap fix, especially one as heavy duty as the truck requires. We missed out on a very lucrative event Saturday the 19th and will be unable to do any events of it is not repaired ASAP. We do not have the funds to afford a repair of this magnitude and will be forced shut down for good if we cannot have it back up soon.
Please do not take this fundraiser as one for my personal finances. I do have another business that pays my personal bills, which has afforded me the means to run the truck and not make any profit. It makes just enough to pay the help, pay food cost and sometimes repairs (almost). I have no doubt that we can continue to make the business profitable and grow it into something bigger in the future.
Your help won’t go unappreciated or unrefunded. To those who donate locally, your donation will be paid back 2 fold with food credit. For example, a $10 donation equals $20 food credit when you visit. All you’ll need to do is show proof of your donation via the Go Fund Me receipt or snapshot of the transaction. Any out of town donations will be recorded and you will be able to order items that are shippable such as our wet spice mix for tacos, enchiladas, soups etc, Or our other food that can be frozen and shipped such as Chili.
No donation is too small and any amount will be appreciated!
