The Crypt School U15 girls netball tour to SA

Hello!

We are The Crypt Grammar School's U15s Netball 'A' Team and in the summer of 2025 we have been offered the incredible opportunity to travel to South Africa to take part in our school's inaugural mixed sports tour. During the tour, we hope to compete against some of the most competitive sporting schools in the Cape. But first we need to get there!

We are trying to raise funds to ensure that our whole team can embark on this once in a lifetime experience, without leaving anyone behind. Our involvement in this unique opportunity will allow us to build relationships with other teams whilst developing our sportsmanship, resilience and even more passion for the game. We will be immensely proud to represent our school and uphold our school values in this netball loving, inspirational country.

As a team, we have had amazing success since we came together in year 7, even though there are only 45 girls in our entire year group! We were crowned county champions in 2022/3 and represented Gloucestershire at the south west championships in Bournemouth in the same year. Since then we have continued to grow and build as a team and were recently the last state school in the Sisters in Sport national cup competition, narrowly losing in the semi-finals of the southern league.
