The Crystal Fairy needs a home
Christine Drygalski, aka The Crystal Fairy, known to most as Chris Carpenter, has recently gone through a divorce. She is looking forward to her next chapter, hopeful and excited for her new life. Unfortunately, the divorce left her with little to build her future. While she has gained ownership of the property, in order to keep it, she must come up with $35,000 within a year.
This property is not just a piece of land; it's her paradise, her home, her future. She never dreamed she'd be rebuilding her life at this stage, and the weight of doing so can undoubtedly feel like climbing a mountain with no gear and no safety net. While a camper is a refuge, it is not a home, and is not suitable for those Northern Michigan winters. She faces the challenge of finding a place to rent during the frigid winter months where rent runs around $2,000 a month even for a tiny space. Additionally, Chris no longer has access to her vehicle; her ex got that so she relies on her son's barely functioning car. She works part-time as a horse handler and takes on cleaning jobs in BnBs in the area, but winter months are very slow for tourism.
For those who may not be familiar with Chris, she is an incredible, self-reliant, and hard-working woman who seldom, if ever, asks for assistance. That is why I'm stepping in. If you've been in a similar situation or know someone who has, you may understand the difficulties in rebuilding and navigating your new life. Not only is it emotionally challenging for even the strongest person, but it is also draining financially. Chris deserves a stable home where her children can visit, where she can lay her son to rest, and where she can build a legacy for for future generations. She has always been selfless. Now it's our turn to help her. Chris is truly admired by countless individuals in Michigan and throughout the country. She deserves much more than what life has handed her.
As mentioned, Chris desperately needs $35,000 to keep her piece of paradise. She's not asking for help. I'm doing this for my friend because she deserves more than the hand that life dealt her. But I can't do this alone. That's why I'm asking for your help. I would greatly appreciate anything you can donate as she embarks on this new chapter in her life. I've set a goal of $10,000 which is a great start, but I'm confident we can reach the $35,000 needed to keep her property - her paradise, her home, her future.
Thank you all so much for your love and support!
