Hello,
My name is Courtney Williams and I am the proud owner of The Curl Conqueror. I am an independent stylist and my business is tailored to working on natural hair. Using my unique and trademark technique called The Curl Conqueroring Method, I create and design natural signature styles for my clients. I also teach courses on how to master the technique and show my clients how to maintain their styles.
For the past two years, I have successfully serviced over 1,000 clients in the booths I have rented. As my clientele steadily grows, I need more space to accommodate my demand and the ability to hire more stylists.
My goal is to raise $100,000 for a down payment on my own salon. Owning my own salon will give me the capacity to service my clients in a spacious and comfortable setting. Most importantly, I desire to conduct business in a good location to attract and maintain customers. As an entrepreneur, I plan to expand my business by offering an array of services that includes teaching techniques to other hairstylists on site. On a personal level, I would like to give back to my community by hosting job readiness clinics, clothing drives, and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.
Words cannot adequately express what it means to me to have sponsors to invest in my dreams. Imagine the scenario of finding the ideal place, having the money for a down payment, handing the owner/bank a check for full ownership, and oh, the best, part, being handed the keys.
As a good stewart, your donations will be allocated towards the following:
1. Purchasing a salon
2. Purchasing salon equipment and materials
3. Placing funds aside for community workshops
4. Providing scholarships for cosmetology students which will help catapult them into their purpose
5. Painting the salon and a designated wall of recognition to all my contributors
6. Putting up a sign that reads, "The Curl Conqueror" Salon
