The Curtis Family Hosting Costs

Hi, my name is Sara, and I am fundraising to help the Curtis Family here in Ottawa (Krista, Garry, Macie & Charlie).

As most of you know, for the last several months the Curtis Family has opened their home to a mother and her three young children (ages 12, 7 and 18 months) while her husband stayed behind in the Ukraine. Currently, all costs of hosting fall on the host family, and doubling the size of your household isn't free. With rising costs and the holidays approaching, I am fundraising to help relieve some of their added expenses.

Anyone who knows the Curtis Family knows that they are the first to help others. Whether it's their extensive work for the families of preemies here in Ottawa, hosting Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) classes for charity, helping neighbours, Christmas food drives when the kids were toddlers or hot chocolate bomb sales for charity in recent years, they look for ways to support others more than anyone I know. This is their biggest effort to help others yet, so let's make sure they have that same support!
