The Curwin King Memorial Fund

We lost a cherished member of our family. Curwin King aged 59, entered into rest on April 8, 2020 at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Beloved husband of Heather Scott-King. Son of the the late Estena "Ermie " Wellington and Basil Wellington. Father of Rachel Arrington, Grandfather of Jeremiah and Jonathan Arrington.  Curwin was a wonderful and devoted husband who lovingly cared for and doted on his wife of 24 years. He touched the lives of those around him with his good heart and generosity. He was a kind and selfless man who would move mountains to help his family, friends and co-workers. He worked for SUNY Downstate Medical Center as a Hospital Attendant in the Recovery Room. He was a dedicated employee who took great pride in his job. "Mr. King" as he was known around the hospital  was well loved by staff and patients. The news of his passing tore through the hospital like a devastating fire, causing great sadness and leaving many hearts heavy and broken. He will be sorely missed.
