The Daf Map system is an innovative method that uses geometric shapes to structure the Gemara, thereby increasing understanding, retention, and effective chazara (review). Over 40 years in development, this method is currently being used by thousands of people worldwide.
A Rebbi of mine, Rabbi Yehonasan Berger, Shlita, created The Daf Map System. I am trying to bring it to the public via the website, YouTube, Podcast, App, and printed versions.
This is where you come in. I am not doing this for the money, in fact, to date, I have not taken a penny, but have spent an enormous amount of my own money and time. However, I need money to be able to bring this project to fruition, and therefore I am reaching out to you for help.
My expenses include:
- Web hosting
- I need some help with web design that I cannot do myself
- I want to hire someone to make an app (this goal is in the future and will cost about $80K)
- I would like to purchase another hard drive for backup. Right now, nothing is backed up - that is a big concern.
- Payments to the audio and video editor
- Payments to the webmaster
