The Dahn family

Our family has been hit hard in recent months, with the loss of two of our beloved family members in less than 4 months. We are trying to raise money for our father/grandpa. Unfortunately our parents were like many and just getting by, our mom who just lost her son and now the love of her life is struggling with being disabled herself. Our dad is a veteran in the army,electrician and even helped build houses in his younger years. We seen him as our loving caring dad who taught us right and wrong, helped us with house and car repairs, as a grandpa playing outside and going for walks. He was diagnosed with cancer of his tongue in 2006 and had part of it removed. We believe that was it until he started having pain again in 2018 it came up when they did a biopsy, it came back inconclusive and then in 2019 they did another biopsy and it came back thst the cancer had returned. He went through chemo, radiation and aggressive treatments with hopes and mindset he was beating this cancer. We tried to seek help in many facilites both in state and out of state. He went downhill rather quickly and couldn't wait to walk his daughter down the aisle towards the end of this year. Until tuesday March 15, Dad was not doing well the cancer had really progressed and wanted to go to the hospital. The first hospital was not taking great care of him and we brought him to Moffit the cancer center where he was admitted into ICU with double pneumonia. Dad passed away on March 19,2022 with all of us around him. We ask that any amount we are grateful for to give him a proper burial with his military services and take some of the burden off of our mom and us.
