The Dan Deming Family

As some of you know, Dan Deming is suffering from a brain injury caused by a fall from a ladder while working at home on Saturday, August 15th 2020.  He was flown by MedFlight to UW Madison Hospital from Portage where he was rushed into brain surgery.  To aid in his healing he was put into a coma/treated with deep sedation to allow for brain swelling to improve. He remains in the coma and his vitals continue to stay stable but everything is being taken one day at a time. It is too early to know what the long-term effects of this injury will be. 

His loving wife, Terri, has been at his side as well as his brother, Dusty Deming, who is an oncologist at UW Madison.  Dusty, being a doctor at the hospital has been a huge blessing since due to Covid-19 virus, only one family member is allowed with Dan at a time.  Dan & Terri have two sons at home, Collin who is 21 and Nolan is 14.

We are hopeful and pray that Dan will have a full recovery but the road will be a long one.  He may be in the hospital/rehabilitation facility for several months.  Thank you for the outpouring of love and support.  With the future so uncertain, this fundraiser has been set up to help the Deming family to ease the financial burden of medical expenses, lost wages and other unforeseen costs.  If you are unable to provide financial support, please keep Dan, Terri, Collin and Nolan in your thoughts and prayers as they face the trials ahead.
