Danny Memorial Fund please help us help the animals in need

In 2021 The Danny Memorial (Medical) Fund was set up to help animals without an owner...when we can...and when we have funds..

 

Danny’s story touched many hearts, left to die on the streets, ended up in a canil, where we found him and took him out, he had a dislocated hip, was deaf, half blind, suffered with dementia, kidney failure and lung fibroses, but he wanted to live. We saw him enjoying his walks, his food, his life again, despite all the medical issues.

 

An amazing person has contacted us, and has donated in memory of Danny €1.000,00 and has pledged to match donations up to another € 1.000,00.

 

We would like to raise these funds in Danny’s name and memory, and we would like to set up a fund for medical cost (mostly orthopaedic costs, etc) for dogs and cats like Danny, animals without an owner, but in dire need of help and medical care.

 

In 2021 we helped quite a few;

*Clarinha, attacked and savaged by another dog, Albufeira

*Mocha, thrown out of a jeep in Quarteira with a broken hip

*Smokey, the feral cat found with a broken leg in Santa Barbara

*Archie, the beaten up dog from Loule

*Cat from Sao Lourenco with the rotten tail

*Cat from Quarteira with a badly broken leg and broken tail

*Branquita, the dog hit by a car and left on the road in Almancil

*Unknown colony cat with bad eye in Loule

in 2022 we helped quite a few and in 2023/2024 we were not able to help due to illness of our President. But now in Septmber 2024 we are back, and would love to receive your support!

 

The additional costs of other surgeries simply cannot come from our sterilisation budget, we have too many animals needing sterilisation, so we will be setting up the Danny Memorial Fund for medical cost with this fundraiser, and hope to be able to continue helping these animals with no owner when it is needed.

 

SOSAA are 100% privately funded by donations from the public.
