The Dar McCray Fund - Be a TRUE Angel Investor

If you have had the pleasure of knowing Dar, then you are keenly aware what an amazing, strong, intelligent, compassionate and loving human, she is. You will also know how hard it is for her to admit that she needs our help. In the past several months, Dar has faced monumental challenges following a Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma diagnosis, months of ongoing chemotherapy and soon to come stem cell treatment, where Dar’s marrow cells will essentially be stripped of all cells to remove the cancer and her “clean” cells will be infused back into her body to give her a fighting chance to beat this disease. In spite of the pain and hardship this has created in Dar’s life, she remains positive and optimistic, ready to fight the good battle to return to a life of health and well being. 

If she wasn’t faced with enough already, she just received notification that MediCal will no longer cover her treatment, leaving her in a very tough financial predicament. We as a society should be ashamed that we do this to those who most need our help. As I know Dar would agree, screw the system!

Can you help me, help Dar? Please? Don’t give more than you can, but PLEASE give what you can, when you can. This is one of those moments in life when someone truly deserving needs our help. Please, help take the financial stress off of Dar so she can fight this battle and focus on healing.
