Support the daughters of Penny Brown

We are friends of Kaitlyn and Bradleigh’s and created this fundraiser to support them with anything they might need right now. Specifically, financial support for mental health resources and counseling.

Kaitlyn and Bradleigh are the daughters of Penny Brown, who was murdered on Mother’s Day of 1999 in their small town of Salamanca, NY. They were 13 and 10 years old at the time and every two years since Penny's death, Kaitlyn, Bradleigh and their family have had to fight to keep their mother's murderer in jail.

Last week the unimaginable happened and the murderer was granted parole after serving only 23 years in jail. He will be released in March. Many people said that this day would never come, or that was many years away and the family is devastated after fighting so hard for so long.

New York State has nothing in place to protect the Brown family emotionally, mentally, or physically. We know that money will not help the family heal from this awful wound, but the Browns deserve more support during this time.
