The Deitrich Family Support Fund

Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer and I am helping to raise funds for my daughter Tessa, son-in-law Derek and my grandson Sawyer.

On December 25th, 2022, Sawyer was unexpectedly admitted into the PICU at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison at 5 weeks old. They believe that he has a genetic disorder and are currently waiting for genetic testing results to get a diagnosis. Until then, there are so many unknowns for them. They do not know how much longer he will be in the hospital, what his continued care will be, or what going home will look like. What they do know is that this will be lifelong for their family.

Currently, Derek is their only income as Tessa has been staying at the hospital with Sawyer and will be out of work for the unforeseeable future to primarily take care of Sawyer and his medical needs. They also live an hour away so Derek driving back and forth uses quite a lot of gas. Any funds they receive would be used for rent, bills, gas, meals, and other expenses they may need at this time. I am hoping that by doing this, I can help relieve any financial stress for them so they can focus on Sawyer's health.
