The Demings Are Adopting!

We are so thrilled to announce that our little family will be growing! After a year and a half of infertility treatments, lots of research, and, most importantly, endless prayers, God is leading us towards adoption. We are just beginning, and prayers are needed for every step of this journey, from our home study to our placement. 

 

Drew and I met seven years ago, when my mom introduced us at the local grocery store around Thanksgiving time. Shortly thereafter we began dating, and got married in June of 2018. Since then our lives have been filled with endless incredible adventures: getting our pug, Oscar; hiking trips anywhere from Canada to Southern Utah; art shows with Drew’s watercolor business; volunteering with Youth for Christ; and lots of family time. However, we know that the greatest adventure is one that is just beginning: starting a family together!

 

We are working with Adoption Partners of Michigan to bring a little one into our lives through a domestic adoption. It’s been said that it takes a village to raise a child, and there is much truth in that. We know that adoption is both an emotional and financial investment, and even though we feel confident in our financial ability to support a child, any donations that you could provide to us are so greatly appreciated. These will go towards our placement and post-placement fees, online parent profile expenses, legal fees, and more. More importantly, your love and prayers for our family, our child, and their birth parents are your greatest gift. We can’t wait to provide a loving, safe, and Spirit filled home for the child God has chosen for us, and to raise them in such a wonderful community.
