The Desire To Live : documentary film from Artsakh

Meet Mariam Avetisyan, a young filmmaker from Artsakh working with her colleague Tigran in making a no-commentary-style documentary series to show post-war life in Artsakh called #TheDesireToLive. These short documentary films are going to show the effects of the war on the average person living in Artsakh and the how their livelihood has been affected and threatened.

If you want to learn more about Artsakh and the people that live in it, follow her story and donate to this project! Our goal is to make a feature documentary and compete in festivals around the world starting in October 2021.
