Fund. The Fund hopes to perpetuate Keith's memory while ensuring a better future for inner-city youth.

On November 13, 1989, New York City Police Detective Keith L. Williams was killed in the line of duty while transporting a

prisoner. However, his spirit and legacy (now) live on through The Detective Keith L. Williams Memorial Charitable Fund,

Inc. under the courageous guidance of his daughter, Tennille Williams. The organization plans to provide academic

scholarships to deserving students throughout New York City's Public School System. Most important, one of its

short-term goals is to open the doors to The Detective Keith L. Williams Recreation Clinic; a community center built to

provide a nurturing learning environment for children and young adults.

The success The Fund will experience in attaining its goals will depend heavily on the success of its fundraising efforts.
