The devastating flood in Gambella, Anywaa zone!

Hi everyone, my name is Jekap Omod and I am raising funds for the people who are affected by the flood in Gog and Joor woreda in Gambella. As of yesterday's (9/23/2022) report, about 12,700 people have been displaced and many more are leaving their homes behind in search of places to stay. According to the Anywaa zone administrator Ato Ojuni Ojulu, their leadership has been trying to provide food items, plastic sheets, and medicines. However, that is not enough for everyone affected by the flood. Places like Teedo are not getting any help since they don't have roads that reach them, and the people there are left with no food, medicines, mosquito nets, blankets, plastic sheets, cooking utilities, or even places to sleep. Anything we raise here will go to the people who are highly affected by this flood. Anywaa zone has never seen a flood like this before, please don't forget to pray for them as well.
