The DHI supports the American Diabetes Association

Tax deductible
The Double Header Invitational is a golf tournament designed to bring family and friends together to benefit the American Diabetes Association. Over 500 million people currently live with diabetes, and nine million of those people have type 1 diabetes world wide. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition and can only be managed by monitoring blood sugar levels, insulin therapy, and a healthy lifestyle. There is no cure for diabetes. Chances are, all of us either have been affected or know someone who battles with the disease on a daily basis.

The Hervey family is all too familiar with diabetes. Bob Hervey was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 35. We have seen first hand the trials and tribulations and how diabetes affects not just him, but also his family and friends.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) has been at the forefront of the battle against diabetes, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by this condition. The ADA makes a significant impact on the fight against diabetes through Research Funding, Community Services, Advocacy, Educational Initiatives and other Fundraising Events.

Lets come together and raise $10,000 for the ADA and do our part to fight diabetes.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that affects so many.
