The Diane Kimball Sheehan Scholarship Fund

Donation protected
This scholarship is in memory of Diane Kimball Sheehan, who graduated from Western Branch High School (WBHS) in 1990 and later attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate and graduate studies. Diane was well known for her compassion, intelligence, citizenship, and strength. She was well-liked by all. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a female student who will graduate from WBHS in the spring of the academic calendar. The student should demonstrate excellent scholarship and citizenship at WBHS and plan to attend college in the fall after graduating from WBHS. Diane lost her battle to lung cancer in February 2023, despite being a non-smoker and leading a very healthy lifestyle. Her loving husband, two daughters, and long-time friends have set up a foundation in her memory to fund this scholarship. The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly into an account designated for the Diane Kimball Sheehan Memorial Fund.
