Patrick Donnelly & Family

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am fundraising for my 53 year old brother Patrick and his family. Patrick has been married to his wonderful wife, Amy for 25 years and they have four beautiful children Grace, Jillian, & Joseph. Katlyn the oldest is married and on her own. Six months ago Patrick was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Which ultimately led to his unexpected employment termination due to his cognitive decline. This was also a termination of the entire families healthcare coverage. Patrick has always worked tirelessly and was able to afford my sister-in-law, the opportunity to stay home and raise their 4 children. My sister-in-law, Amy never missed a beat. After being out of the workforce for over 25 years she now has a full time job. Amy clips coupons and has the ability to stretch a dollar farther than anyone I’ve ever known. But it’s simply not enough. They are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table and the medical bills are daunting! Patrick went from working 50-60 hours a week to being home all day with no job. His ability to drive is now limited. They have applied for disability, but the wheels of government turn slowly. While that income will help, it’s just a fraction of what they need! Any help you can give would be so greatly appreciated from our entire family! The kindness of people never ceases to amaze me.
