The Douglas Park Project - Largs

Welcome to our Go Fund Me page. Our previous page managed to raise over £2000 which was amazing. Thank you to everyone who contributed. At the beginning of lockdown, two locals decided they had had enough of just saying how sad our heritage local park was looking and decided to take action! Their actions snowballed from trying to make something look a little bit better into a full community project. The Douglas Park project! A project with big plans!! We hope to make Douglas Park a vibrant and useful space for the locals and not so locals alike. However we have so much to do. We are planning an asset transfer for the carriage house in the near future. This means we will be responsible for its refurbishing and maintenance. This is a huge undertaking but we believe that with help from the local community and fabulous volunteers, we can make is as beautiful as it was in its glory days. Can you help us achieve this ?
