The Dunnuck - Dobbs Family

Please consider helping a beloved Manatee County, Florida family continue to recover following a devastating house fire.

On Tuesday, August 1st, Royce Dunnuck, his fiancé Carson Dobbs, and their children watched helplessly from the front yard of their new home as Southern Manatee Fire Rescue rushed in to extinguish the flames. The Dunnuck - Dobbs family is fervently grateful for the blessings of health and safety. Neighbors, schools, employers, the fire department, and The American Red Cross supplied immediate relief.

Royce and Carson realize that material possessions matter far less than precious human lives. Ultimately, though, the impact of rebuilding the home that they have only occupied for mere months is unfathomable. In addition to extensive damage necessitating expensive repairs, the family is overcome with the loss / damage of tools, furniture, cabinetry, children’s toys, school supplies, and clothing. They have been surrounded by caring friends, neighbors, and co-workers, all who have contributed to easing the burden of this situation. It is far from over, as they require temporary housing.

Royce and Carson worked tirelessly for years to finally provide their fun, active, blended family with the house of their dreams; they were determined to give their five children a place to play and a space to enjoy. Four of their five children will be starting school this week, the oldest an incoming freshman at Braden River High School. The Dunnuck - Dobbs family is determined to bounce back.

At this time, financial assistance is still more helpful than donated goods.
