At Specialised Plumbing Drainage Roofing, we’ve always believed in the strength of family — not just in name, but in the way we show up for each other when it matters most. Today, we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and open hands to support a cherished part of our SPDR family: the Durose family.

Kim Durose is currently facing one of life’s most devastating challenges — a battle with cancer that has turned her world, and the world of her loved ones, upside down. Since her diagnosis, Kim has been navigating a relentless journey filled with doctor visits, scans, biopsies, and aggressive rounds of chemotherapy. It’s hard to put into words the physical, emotional, and mental toll this has taken on her and her family.

On top of that, the financial strain has been immense. Cancer doesn’t just take a toll on the body — it impacts every part of life. The cost of treatments, medications, specialist appointments, and travel quickly adds up. And with Darren, her husband, taking extended time off work to be by her side and care for her, the everyday financial pressures have become even more difficult to manage.

Darren and Aiden are not just colleagues — they are family to us. They've stood with SPDR through thick and thin, and now it’s our turn to stand by them.
