The EAR Inn Staff Relief Fund
Donation protected
The EAR Inn has always been the fire in New York’s belly.
From 1817, through Prohibition, to 9/11, the 2008 financial crash, and Hurricane Sandy The EAR Inn has never been closed for more than a day. Despite wars, man-made and natural disasters the staff has always been to provide a willing ear, a comforting comment, and plenty of good camaraderie. (That’s to say nothing of wetting whistles and filling hungry stomachs.) They have manned and woman-ed the bar, the tables, the kitchen, and the dishwasher, all the while making everyone in the neighborhood, and those from far beyond, feel like family.
But like so many heretofore unfathomable things, CoVid-19 has closed the EAR’s doors.
We are determined to reopen again and with our same wonderful staff. We just don’t know when we can do it safely.
In the meantime, our staff needs help. Anything you can donate, however small or large, will be be much appreciated. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised will go the staff from the front of the house and the back of the house.
We know everyone is going through a rough time, we send you love and best wishes. And please please stay close in heart but safely socially distanced!!!
We can’t thank you enough, Martin Sheridan and Gareth Lawler
