Help the Eklund Family Heal

Hey everyone. My name is Kati and I am an Army Clinical Psychologist and mother of three beautiful humans and I am raising funds for my family. My wonderful friend and kids were in a tragic car accident (everyone is fine) and the car is completely totaled. Unfortunately this accident happened shortly after my family and I moved from Washington state to Florida, expended our savings on the move, three weeks after my daughter was hospitalized (hello bills) and shortly after I began my new job. This vehicle is my only mode of transportation to take the kids to school and daycare and drive to work. We live in a small town and public transportation is not an option. The insurance payout for the car will be enough to cover the loan but not enough to cover another car and I am desperate. I am grateful for my car for saving my kids lives and for their car seats for keeping them safe. I am scared about not being able to afford a reliable and safe vehicle to transport them to school and for me to go to work in order to pay for the mortgage and all the other expenses. This is not how I expected this move across the country to start and I hope this accident is the end of a series of scares. Funds will be used to help purchase a reliable and safe car for my family.
