The Eldridge family

Dear family, friends, & supporters, after much heartbreak, hope, thoughts, and prayers a decision was made to create a Go-Fund-Me account in honor of the Eldridge family.
For those who may not be aware, Rick Eldridge who is a husband, father, Veteran, business owner, brother in law, and friend was given a medical diagnosis in early 2018 of Metastatic non small cell Adenocarcinoma, Lung cancer stage IV. In for the fight of his life, through the duration of his treatment, Rick suffered a massive heart attack in April of 2018, leaving him with partial functioning of his heart. Due to the severity of his illness and depleting state, he was forced to suspend his life long dream of operating business owner for his company, he and his wife Mary created; Edison Electric & Data.
Since 2018 Rick has undergone hospitalizations, surgeries, drainage to his lungs, multiple rounds of chemo-therapy, immunotherapy, and ongoing medications, all to no prevail. Rick's doctor has now indicated he is in the "end stage" and authorization of Hospice care has been granted.
This past year has been emotionally crippling for the Eldridge family. Rick's son, Preston Thomas, who just turned 8 years old, who has a diagnosis of Autism, and struggles to understand why Daddy is so sick. Why Daddy can no longer go fishing with him. Also, the financial devastation due to Rick being unable to work and the loss of business, has left the family incapacitated. The thought of initiating a Go Fund Me account has been very much delayed, due to Rick's pride & personal modesty, but it is now sadly to the point, where the support is more than ever legitimately needed. Rick and Mary are extremely dedicated to making sure their son Preston, at such a young age, and due to his level of comprehension, maintains his usual standard of living. Though, at this point & time, due to the minimal income, the deprivation of even daily necessities such as gas for the car & payment of utilities, has become extremely overwhelming.
This account is active so donations can be made to the Eldridge family, to help combat their financial stress and assist in helping them sustain a quality of life for their young son. Of course, gift cards are also graciously accepted. Also, Amazon provides household items, toiletries, ect. that can be shipped to address: 10591 Chestnut Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
Continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated! Rick is continuing to fight and the love & needed support can help carry him through this critical phase of his life. He wants to remain strong not only physically, but emotionally for his wife and son.
