The Eleanor Anderson-Miles Foundation

The Miles Family has started The Eleanor Anderson-Miles Foundation, a non-profit organization that will honor Eleanor by providing students an opportunity to receive a scholarship.

The Foundation’s mission is to help create a path for students to develop themselves through access to education. Eleanor was a true educator who embodied the importance of equal access to higher education for all, regardless of economic circumstances. In order to ensure positive educational outcomes, Eleanor believed that an individual needed four pillars: community, access, funding and drive. She was certain that every person has a different puzzle that makes up their life. This scholarship aims to be the driving force in helping someone find the missing pieces and complete their dream.
