Hi, my name is Chelsea and yesterday my parents had a house fire. Thankfully everyone is safe and taken care of. Unfortunately there are a lot of unknown costs already that my family is unable to get taken care of. At this time the fire was contained to mainly the basement, but the structure of the trusses has been compromised. There are no material damages at this time- we are waiting for a restoration company to come in and let us know what is salvageable. My mom is one to not ask for help and give anything she has to help someone else before herself. Anything anyone could contribute would be amazing during this time. We are already looking at upfront costs of $5,000+ on the low side with a lot of unknown electrical damage. This money will be put towards any living expenses if they are not able to stay long term in the house and the costs of all the emergency repairs needed.
