The Empty Room - Donations for Refugee Ukranians

We are helping refugee Ukrainian families and individuals find safe havens in Canada and abroad through a network of international Canadian citizens giving humanitarian aid. We are filling empty rooms with families and refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine.

The first family we are helping is a mother and her two daughters (plus the family cat) who want to immigrate to Canada under a visa application. They have traveled from Ukraine to the Polish border then onto Hungary, and finally, Romania awaiting visa approval's to come to Canada. The little girl carried her cat the entire time throughout their travels to a refugee-friendly residence where they now reside.

Donations are needed to fund their current living conditions plus visa and travel expenses to Edmonton, where hosts are waiting for them. We are reviewing other refugee families in need right now for financial and sponsorship support.
