The EPONA 100 Mile Ultra-Marathon
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Azaylia Foundation and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
I will be attempting my first 100-mile Ultra-Marathon on the 21st June 2025 at the Epona 100, which will be a mental and physical rollercoaster with elevation gain of 17,500 ft over the 100 miles covering 23 mountains in the heart of Wales.
The Azaylia Foundation is dedicated to changing a system that has been underfunding childhood cancer for too long. By working with a large community of supporters and a public audience, we:
- Raise funds which can be used to support new talent and new research across prevention, early diagnosis and the availability of new treatments for childhood cancer.
- Build a movement that demands change through awareness raising and calls to action.
- Support families accepted into treatment not freely available from the NHS
Founded by Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee after losing their 8-month old daughter Azaylia to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). In its first few years of existence, The Azaylia Foundation has donated over £1.1 million towards new talent, research and equipment for childhood cancer, and has also supported over 15 families to access critical treatment not funded by the NHS.
