The Evils of Elvis Productions

Hello! We're Cal State LA's Film Incubator! We're a group of passionate student filmmakers all collaborating to make a film.

The project of our film is called, "The Evils of Elvis". This story is set in the 90's, it follows a group of middle-aged Elvis impersonators who face a comedic chaos when a mysterious newcomer shakes up their world with a tantalizing offer, testing their dedication to the King's legacy.

We're currently in pre-production preparing to get ready for our final shoot in the next coming months!

With your contributions/donations, it will help our production very deeply!

No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe. 

Here are the following things, that the donations will help us with.

Cast: This production requires a great amount of commitment from our cast and crew. Everyone in this production is trying to make it to the business as young free lancers. Everyone from the bottom to the top is taking time away from home to work to on this film as everyone from the crew will be working for free for this film. We want to make sure the cast is satisfied and taken care of over the course of the shooting dates.

Equipment/Props: A portion of the money raised will go to renting equipment/purchasing props for the film. Equipment/Props may include camera accessories, mics, audio recording equipment, set pieces and props, wardrobe, etc. These expenses mount up quickly, with funding we can spend more on better equipment/props.

Permits & Insurance: Money donated will also be used to secure filming permits to film in public locations. Alongside film permits, Insurance will need to be purchased in order to protect the locations as well as to protect film equipment and the crew working on it.

We understand that everyone isn't able to donate, and that's okay! You can still help us out! This crew is made up of inspiring film students and we are excited to get this project going!
