The Face of COVID RN Glenn Gotay

RN Glenn Gotay, 32 years old, was never supposed to be the face of COVID. He is the face of a brave front line healthcare worker, a leader, a compassionate and dedicated nurse. He is the face of a man providing excellent care to an underserved and underprivileged population. He is the face of professionalism, kindness and respectfulness. He is the face of an amazing father of three and a loving husband (his wife, Kachell, is also an RN).

Unfortunately, Glenn IS the face of COVID. He is the face of someone sedated and on a ventilator for the last 7 days. He is the face of someone being transferred to another hospital for a higher level of care/treatment. He is the face of someone fighting desperately to beat this horrible virus. He is the face of a young professional who, despite all precautions and best efforts, was not immune from COVID. He is the face of someone with a wife and children who very much want to see him smiling again.

Glenn's hospital bills are quickly accumulating and he does not have health insurance. He is the head of his household. Kachell and Glenn just recently purchased a home and this is an extreme financial strain on his family and their resources.
