The family of Anthony Hogan
Donation protected
Hi my name is Mandi Burkhart, my sister and I are fundraising for our niece, Hannah Hogan and her babies.
Our nephew, Anthony Hogan died unexpectedly yesterday. Anthony was 34 years young.
Anthony and Hannah decided that it was best for their family for Hannah to be a stay at home mom. "Bubba" as those close to him and loved him so affectionally called him...worked hard for his family. Not only to care for them financially but every aspect of their life. He was all about his family. He shared about how beautiful his wife was and how much he loved her publically, often. He was patient, kind, loving, and funny. Bubba and Hannah have been sweethearts for most of their lives. I truly believe they were soulmates. They did EVERYTHING together, they talked and texted throughout the day just to stay close and in touch with one another. Bubba was Hannah's everything, and she and the babies were his. In addition to working hard at his career, he also coached and helped with their sports and activities. He helped coach Carson's football team this year (Carson is 9). He helped coach Layla's soccer team of 3 this year (Layla is 3). Their newest baby Maddox would light up when his daddy got home from work. Just last weekend Layla was so excited to show her daddy her soccer medal that she got that morning (while he was at Carson's game coaching). He loved his mom, dad, sisters and brothers. He loved football (go Arkansas and the Cowboys). He loved the Lord. He was our gentle giant. He was also fiercely protective of his family.
Bubba had suffered for years with diverticulitis and other internal illnesses. There have been many hospital and doctor bills for the family. Their baby, Layla was born fairly prematurely and was in the NICU for several months. Their newest baby, Maddox suffers from pyloric stenosis. He has had to have surgeries and could potentially have more. Just last week their family vehicle broke down, and they ordered the parts. They have been covered up with medical bills for so long, not to mention burial and other expenses.
Our families are heartbroken, and my niece will never be the same. While I will never understand why such soul-wrenching things happen to the best people, I
have to keep the faith and hope that we will keep going and try to leave a legacy for Anthony of kindness, gentleness, and love for the rest of our time on this earth.
Please help us love on the loves of his life by lessening the worries as much as we can (at least the financial worry).
Thank you in advance for your help!
