Help Brian Mendelsohn's Family with expenses

Dear Friends,

It's been a heartbreaking 2 weeks. We are very saddened by the loss of our beloved brother, Brian Mendelsohn. Brian has been the percussionist in Lightning Dan and the Crawdads since the inception of the band in 2017.

Brian brought a tender yet impactful approach to the percussion end of the band. Never afraid to experiment, his bravery was unrivaled. We are going to miss the bright chimes and booming smiles that were guaranteed during every performance. The way he poured out love and admiration generously, made us feel like he was our biggest fan.

Off stage, Brian was always ready to listen, called regularly, and was there for everybody.

Dave Matthews Band and Tedeschi Trucks Band blared from his car as he loaded up his drums at the end of every show. A friend, brother, husband, and father, Brian will be glaringly missed, but will live on in the music and our hearts forever.

How You Can Help:

We are asking for your donations to help his wife, Jessica, with costs for the cremation and services. We'd also like to have some money for their daughter, Maddie's, college fund. This means so much to us because Brian was a solid friend. We want to help take care of Maddie and Jessica for him.
