Daniel Idfresne's family

We are the brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon at Syracuse University, and we're reaching out to you for support. Our friend, Danny Idfresne, recently suffered a profound loss with the passing of his mother due to illness. While we may not have had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Idfresne, her legacy undoubtedly lives on through her son, Danny, who is an integral part of our fraternity.

A message from Danny: "In 1999, my mother embarked on a journey from her homeland to the United States, driven by dreams of a brighter future and a deep-rooted love for children. Her passion led her to attend college again in the US, where she achieved her dream of becoming a preschool teacher, touching the lives of many young souls with her kindness and wisdom. Beyond her professional life, she lived her faith as a devout Christian, transforming our family's apartment into a place of worship every Sunday until the church's official inauguration in 2018. Her commitment to spreading love and hope extended beyond borders, as she traveled to Haiti every two years for missionary work. In 2016, our family traveled to the village of Tavern in Haiti, where we had the honor of building a church together, a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to service.”

Danny is not only a close friend but also a remarkable individual. His kindness and intelligence shine through in everything he does, always placing the needs of others before his own. In this challenging time of mourning, we are rallying together to support Danny and his family.
