An Unspeakable Loss for a Mailman and his Family

On August 1, 2023, there was a fire in Lacey Township, NJ where four people perished: Jennifer Wright, 39; Alaina Wright, 34; a 14-year-old female victim; and a four-month-old infant. We are co-workers and friends of Daniel Wright, and this was his family.

Daniel has been a Letter Carrier at the Brick Post Office in Ocean County since 2018. During the height of the pandemic, Daniel worked 12-hour days and never missed a single day of work. It was important to him that his customers got their mail and had access to any essentials they might be waiting for. We describe him as a great guy and a beautiful soul.

Every single person in the Post Office where we work is devastated for Danny and his family. We want to help them: they deserve our help. They don't deserve this unspeakable loss.

All donations will be used for funeral expenses and to help the family rebuild. Please give what you can. Help us to help Daniel.
