The Family of Jan Rowland

My name is Angela Hernandez, daughter of Jan Rowland. Having to reach out for assistance, especially financially, is never easy. My father, Jan, was involved in a terrible accident on September 26th. After 7 days in ICU and 3 surgeries, he was transferred to a Level 1 trauma center via helicopter because his injuries were so severe that the hospital he was at could no longer provide the care he needed. After 1 more surgery at the new trauma center, which didn't have the outcome my family or the doctors were hoping for, we had to make the hardest decision of removing him from life-saving devices. Our father passed away peacefully on October 5th surrounded by his family. We weren't expecting something like this to happen and we are financially unprepared. From hospital bills to funeral/memorial costs to just trying to understand what bills need to be paid and so forth. At this time, we are asking for donations to help cover these costs in lieu of flowers or other gifts.
