The family of Kevin Garland

Yesterday, September 7th, the Garland family suffered a devastating loss when Kevin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. It would be a challenge to find a person in Baddeck and the surrounding area who wouldn’t have a story or kind word to share about Kevin. He was an extremely hardworking man who was always willing to lend a hand to a friend or neighbour. Kevin leaves behind his loving wife Wendy, their three children, Kaitlin, Tyler and Allysa, his parents Norma and Charles, siblings Jeanette, Kim and Graham as well as many extended family members and friends. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know Kevin knows how hard he worked to provide for his family. As a community, it would be a wonderful way to honour Kevin and his spirit by coming together to help Wendy and the kids during this very difficult time. Every little bit helps, and would be greatly appreciated, so the family can have time to mourn and adjust without worrying about finances. Kevin will be deeply missed by so many, and leaves a lasting memory on our town. Thank you in advance to anyone who shares or donates.
