The remembrance of LeAnna Michelle Ramer Rudolph

We have all been stunned by the sudden loss of LeAnna. She was what many people refer to as "the outdoorsy type". LeAnna admired the beach, mountains, lakes, canoeing, camping, and was an avid bird lover.

The reasoning for this page has been lovingly presented here by Lee and Monica Ramer:

"LeAnna was a mother to two amazing people, Noah, and Daryl Ruby. I always tell parents: you know you have done your job as a parent when you look at your children and see the formidable human beings they’ve become. Noah and Daryl are who they are because LeAnna was formidable.

This has been one of the hardest moments in our lives. The confusion, doubts, and wondering are debilitating. You feel powerless. Speechless.

We all want the people we love so much, near us. Or at the very least, available if you call, FaceTime, or respond to your emails. But life got to be too much for her.

Humans don’t take this sudden “separation” in the relationship well very. We want and desire closure. This entire thing feels like a bad breakup. We don’t get closure this time. No notes, letters, emails, sad phone calls, or a long goodbye. In a split second, it was all gone, done.

I must respect the fact that she had that right. But it’s very hard to accept this breakup without a “reason”. But the reason was hers, not ours, to understand, to know. She was in mental pain. I ask myself: Would I want her to continue in mental agony, just so she’d be available to me, or all of us?

That would be selfish of me. We’ll love her forever. Love the times we’ve spent together. The laughs. The hugs. Then, I’ll go on, respecting her decision.

She wanted to be cremated, that we know for sure, and we want to honor her wishes.
