The Family of Lukas Toste

It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our Lukas, who left us at the tender age of 16. Lukas was so many things — kind, caring, funny, smart, and compassionate, to name a few — and he touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Lukas was the type of person to help you with your problems no matter what it is or what he's got going on. As his brother, he has helped me through so much with his humor and huge heart and, even though he was younger, I looked up to him in so many ways he guided me through so much. He was a shining star of hope in a dark world.

In the face of this tragic loss, we find ourselves grappling with not only the emotional toll but also unexpected financial challenges — funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, time away from work, and other unforeseen costs that have only compounded our grief. Funeral and memorial costs alone will be $15,000. We're turning to you all for support during this incredibly difficult time. Your contributions will help alleviate the financial burden on our grieving family, allowing us to give Lukas the farewell he deserves.

We appreciate all of your kind words, thoughts, empathy, and prayers during this horribly difficult time. We ask that you all join us in remembering Lukas and provide solace to those left behind. Lukas' service will be held at Forrest Lawn Funeral Home (5740 South Pine Ave Ocala, FL 34480) on Tuesday, December 19th. The viewing will be from 5-7PM. The service will begin at 7PM.
