The family of Matthew Small

Hi, my name is Michele Spadaccino, I have known Sandra, Greg, Matthew, and Mark for 18 years. Some could say I've known the boys ever since they were knee-high to a grasshopper. The Small family went on holiday to visit family in Ireland. During their visit, on December 31st, Matt became critically ill. He had started out with a common cold then it went into Pneumonia and then contracted Influenza-A. He was placed on a ventilator, and days later his kidneys began to fail to make matters worse, Matt has Heart Tissue damage from the combination of infections. As of today, I talked with his Mom (Sandra) the infection is responding to the antibiotics, however, he is still on the ventilator and dialysis. The mounting bills between car rentals, gas, and trying to keep ahead of the daily expenses and maintaining everything back here are beginning to take their toll and that's before any medical bills begin to come in. Matt has been in the critical care unit since December 31st and he will likely remain in Ireland for up to 6 months. The Smalls are a very active and generous family, Matt earned his Eagle Scout in 2019, and he helped build a BBQ pit for the Levittown Rescue Squad. Matt saved his money and purchased a motorcycle. When he comes home at night, he shuts his bike down because he doesn't want to disturb the neighbors. Matt and his family have been very active in BSA Troop 82 and various cat rescue groups. My cat went missing and the entire Smalls family came out in the rain to help me find her. Matthew is very big into his Irish heritage and designed and registered the family Tartan in Scotland. Matt is very selfless and only thinks of others in their time of need or just because. I'm asking everyone to help this wonderful family with a donation.
